Scattered observations from pregame…

  • ESPN has its “spy cameras” in the locker rooms for tonight’s broadcast. The players are not fond of said cameras, which broadcast scenes from the locker rooms during pregame and halftime.
  • Celtics rookie Glen ‘Big Baby’ Davis was working on 18-foot jumpers with assistant coach Clifford Ray before the game. I’ve yet to see Davis shoot from quite that far out during an actual game, but it could be something he is looking to add to his repertoire.
  • The Suns have player bios of the Celtics roster taped on the wall leading to the showers. It gives Phoenix players a chance to glance at Celtic tendencies on their way to get cleaned up.
