With four points and three assists in the game, Rajon Rondo was forced to the bench with two fouls with just less than five minutes remaining in the quarter. Rondo had been doing a great job controlling the tempo of the game.

The Celtics shot 62 percent in the quarter. Ray Allen led the team with 10 points and 4 assists.

  • About 300 members of the United States Armed Services are in attendance tonight through the Celtics’ Seats for Soldiers program. Some season ticket holders voluntarily donated their tickets to the game so a soldier could attend.

    The soldiers received a standing ovation when they were introduced to the crowd.
