It’s rare when a team shoots over 50 percent for a half and still manages to trail by double-digits, but that’s exactly what happened to the Celtics here in the first half.
Already without Ray Allen, the Celtics lost another of the Big Three when Paul Pierce picked up his third personal foul at the 3:51 mark in the second quarter. Pierce has one point in the game. Kevin Garnett has just three points.
Rounding out the starters for the Celtics, Rajon Rondo has 10 points but just 1 assist. Kendrick Perkins is the only Boston starter having an above-average game. He has 11 points and 4 rebounds.
