Jazz, 33-23 (1)
The Celtics made just 3 of their first 9 shots as Utah got off to a 14-8 lead midway through the first quarter.
Later in the quarter, down 25-17 and in need of some energy, Doc Rivers brought in James Posey and Leon Powe off the bench.
Down 27-19 and seeking even more energy, Rivers brought in Glen Davis and Eddie House, leaving Ray Allen as the only starter on the floor.
None of it seemed to work. The Jazz shot 55 percent for the quarter.
