The Celtics have won a season-best 10 straight games, but players and coaches aren’t sure if this is the best the Celtics have played this season.
“It’s hard to say,” said Ray Allen. “We’ve taken on the mantra that winning the game is all that matters. We’ve had some ugly wins. We’ve had a lot of different wins in a lot of different fashions. I try not to judge them. You win and go home and just forget about it and move on.”
Doc Rivers says his team has played just as well at other times this season.
“I think we’ve played in stretches all year, where we’ve had great stretches,” he said. “And I don’t know if this is any different from those stretches, to be honest.”
Kendrick Perkins doesn’t know if this is the best his team has played, but he knows one thing.
“Our team is confident right now,” he said.
