Celtics, 92-60 (3)
The Celtics had a big lead at halftime, but they extended the lead to 77-48 at the 7:46 mark, forcing the Sonics to call timeout. Ray Allen made it 88-58 with a lay-up at the 2:33 mark. In other words, it’s not close.
The game has devolved into a glorified pickup game. Rajon Rondo pulled a 360 on a dunk. Allen is getting to the rim whenever he feels like it. And the Sonics look beaten.
Leon Powe replaced Kevin Garnett with 4:26 left in the quarter. I’d be surprised if we see Garnett again.
P.J. Brown checked in for the first time at the 1:30 mark.
