Brown active
P.J. Brown has officially been activated for tonight’s game. He will be in uniform on the Celtics bench. He said he wasn’t sure if he would see any playing time, but that he would be ready if he did.
“I’m prepared to go out there and contribute,” Brown said. “Whether that happens or not, I don’t know…it’s fair to say this is the biggest game of the year. We’ve got to have it.”
Brown said he watched the two previous Celtics-Pistons games with interest as a fan, but at the time he had no premonitions of playing for the Celtics.
“They were battles,” he said. “They were going at it. That’s what everybody expected. Two great teams, two great defensive teams. Great experience. They’re going to come down to the wire. I wouldn’t expect anything different tonight.”
