Wally’s back
It’s hard to imagine anyone is more excited about recent NBA developments than Wally Szczerbiak, who left a rebuilding situation in Seattle to play with LeBron James and the contending Cavs.
“I’m just ecstatic,” bubbled Szczerbiak before the game. “I’m really excited. I love the guys.”
Wally appears to be a good fit in Cleveland because of his spot-up shooting abilities.
“I have to make it work,” he said. “On paper maybe it looks like it would, and when you look at the roster. I’m just a cog in the wheel here. We have 10 or 11 guys that can really play. And we have LeBron James, who’s one of the top two players in the world. I just have to do what I do.”
There’s been only one problem so far.
“I’m not shooting great since I got here because I’m not used to being so wide open,” Szczerbiak said.
