LeBron is youngest to 10,000
With a dunk over Kevin Garnett at the 4:54 mark in the third quarter, LeBron James became the youngest player in NBA history to score 10,000 points.
The player who previously held that honor was Kobe Bryant, but at 23 LeBron is more than a year younger than when Bryant reached 10,000.
LeBron, however, did not reach 10,000 points the fastest. Wilt Chamberlain reached the 10,000-point mark in just 236 games. James has played in 368 games. James came into the NBA directly from high school.
