Clipper notes
The Clippers are coming off a 103-94 win over the Knicks on Monday. That win snapped a nine-game road losing streak for the Clips, who are 6-15 overall on the road this season. Chris Kaman and Corey Maggette played against New York after missing the previous four games with the flu-like symptoms. Kaman has been a force for LA this season. He is 5th in the NBA with 29 double-doubles.
Superstar forward Elton Brand has not played at all this season. He is recovering from a torn left Achilles tendon, suffered during a workout on Aug. 3. Brand was cleared to resume running on Jan. 24.
