Not the same
Paul Pierce acknowledged tonight’s game was a little different than usual.
“Over the last four or five years this has been one of the most heated games that’s been played,” said Pierce. “We’ve been trading partners with the Minnesota Timberwolves for the last four or five years. To me, I look at it as another game. But for other guys, they look at it as an incentive to prove to the squad that they were from that they were worth what they got traded for…If they’re up for any game for the rest of the year, you have to know they’re going to be up for tonight.”
