Snap out of it
Are the Celtics in a funk? Big Baby doesn’t think so.
“Teams are knowing what we’re doing,” said Glen ‘Big Baby’ Davis. “They’re knowing that we’re going to go to KG, or we’re going to run a pick-and-roll with Ray, or we’re going to isolate Paul. But now it comes a time where we have to execute. Even though a team knows our play, if we execute the play it’s hard to stop us.”
“I don’t mess around with football,” said Davis
Actually, Davis said he did mess around with football in high school. He was his team’s leading rusher through his junior year, and quit his senior year when his team had a chance at the state championship.
“They were mad at me, but I didn’t care,” said Davis.
Davis said that when he was at LSU, then coach Nick Saban asked him to join the football team.
“We had a lot of sit-downs,” said Davis. “[I told him] I’d think about.”
