Celtics, 37-35 (half)
The Celtics and Wizards haven’t had long to forget each other (the two teams played Saturday), and it showed here in the first half.
Not to call it ugly, but both teams defended well in the first 24 minutes. It seems like both sides know what’s coming, and neither offense is running particularly smoothly.
Ray Allen knocked down a jumper at the buzzer to give the Celtics the lead.
Kevin Garnett is leading the Celtics with 11 points. He has missed only one shot.
Eddie House and Rajon Rondo shared the point guard duties in the first half, with House getting more minutes. Not sure if Rondo’s back may be bothering him a little bit.
The crowd really isn’t into this one here, and besides that one Kendrick Perkins play, the Celtics haven’t given them much to cheer for.
