Rondo will start
Point guard Rajon Rondo will start tonight for the Celtics, Doc Rivers just told reporters. Rondo missed Sunday’s game against the Lakers with a hamstring injury, but Rivers said Rondo would not be held back.
“[Trainer Ed Lacerte] didn’t even question it,” said Rivers. “We held him out yesterday, but he’s fine.”
Rivers, as usual, did not know much about Rondo’s injury directly.
“I didn’t even talk to Rondo about it, I just talked to [Lacerte], said Rivers. “So if Rondo gets hurt, we’re just throwing Eddie under the bus.”
