The Big 2: Allen out
Celtics guard Ray Allen is sitting out tonight’s game, according to coach Doc Rivers. Allen has a sore right ankle, according to team spokesman Jeff Twiss (Rivers said he honestly didn’t know which ankle). Allen injured the ankle during the Charlotte game and tweaked it earlier this week. Allen is questionable for Sunday’s game as well, according to Rivers.
Tony Allen will start in place of Ray Allen tonight for the Celtics. Kendrick Perkins is also back in the starting lineup.
