Picture perfect
This one could be a keeper.
The Celtics posed for their annual team picture today, and with the way this team has started (18-2), they might want to make double prints.
Players, dressed in their uniforms, posed with coaches, trainers, and team executives (all in suits) on a riser in the middle of the parquet. The photo was taken at 5:37 p.m.
Kevin Garnett was not the centerpiece of the photo. Garnett and Paul Pierce occupied the left half of the front row, while Ray Allen and James Posey were on the right. Celtics owners Wyc Grousbeck and Steve Pagliuca were front and center. Kendrick Perkins was in the middle on the riser above, and assistant coach Clifford Ray occupied the center of the third riser.
Scott Pollard tried his best to be front and center.
“My hair looks like Patrick Swayze,” Pollard quipped right before the photo.
Kendrick Perkins is on the court right now going through his normal pregame routine with the Celtics trainers. The Globe’s Marc Spears reported from shootaround earlier in the day that Perkins will play tonight with that sore right toe.
The locker rooms just opened. We’ll be back with updates in a bit.
