The Celtics started without the Big Three for the first time all season tonight against the Bucks. With Tony Allen taking the place of Ray Allen, the Celtics seemed a bit off here in the first quarter.
Kevin Garnett (10 points) and Paul Pierce (7 points) took the brunt of the scoring load for Boston.
The Bucks have been led by the pesky Mo Williams, who has 7 points.
The crowd is booing Milwaukee’s Yi Jianlian every time he touches the ball. Not sure why. Maybe they’re booing him because of his holdout during the offseason. Maybe they’re booing what might have been had the Celtics chosen Jianlian and never traded for Garnett or Ray Allen.
Ray Allen is looking dapper on the bench in a suit and burgundy-red shirt. He is joined on the inactive list by Brandon Wallace.
