Emotional win
Kevin Garnett said the win had added significance because of what coach Doc Rivers is going through. The Celtics held a moment of silence for Doc Rivers’s father before tonight’s game.
“Every time we’re out there with Doc, just what he’s going through, has some emotion with it,” said Garnett. “It feels good to win for a coach who gives himself to you, not just a little bit, but all of him. I’d die for anyone like that.”
