That’s how many points the Celtics put up in the first half. The Celtics have dominated the Nuggets in all facets of the game. What looked like a good game on paper has turned into a total mismatch at the break.

Paul Pierce jumped up and down on his way to the locker room, pumping up the crowd as he went. Fans gave the Celtics a huge ovation as they left the court.

The Nuggets walked off with their heads down.

The Celtics shot 72 percent in the first half. The Nuggets shot 38 percent.

  • Kevin Garnett has 14 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists at the break. Paul Pierce has 20 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists.
  • One potential area of concern for the Celtics: Kendrick Perkins and Rajon Rondo both have 3 fouls. Probably not a big worry for most fans here.
