A different world
Last season, Doc Rivers found positives in almost every negative Celtics outcome (and there were a lot of them). This season, Rivers is finding negatives in lopsided victories.
“I didn’t like the way the game ended, honestly,” said Rivers. “That upset me, so it’s kind of tough to move through that. Because we stopped executing offensively, we stopped defending. And I just don’t like ending games that way … Too many turnovers, too many fouls for us. Other than that, not a lot to complain about.”
Rivers did have good things to say as well.
“Defensively I was ecstatic with the energy that we played at. And just the extra passes offensively. Obviously we ran our stuff, and when that happens everyone knows where everyone is at.”
