Kendrick Perkins stared down Wizards point guard Gilbert Arenas after giving him a hard foul at the 8:54 mark. If there’s one thing Perkins brings to a game it’s intensity.

  • The Garden fans are really getting on Arenas, more than likely because of his blog postings predicting a win here tonight. Fans have booed Arenas every time he touched the ball, and chanted “Gilbert” when Arenas picked up a foul.
  • It wasn’t a pretty first quarter. The Celtics hit 9 of 23 shots, while the Wizards hit 8 of 21. The Celtics are outrebounding the Wizards, 14-12.
