Pierce will play
Celtics captain Paul Pierce said a few minutes ago that he will give it a go tonight. Pierce told reporters he would talk to coach Doc Rivers and ask into the lineup. Pierce was not listed in the starting lineup on the whiteboard in the Celtics locker room. Rajon Rondo, Delonte West, Ryan Gomes, Al Jefferson, and Brian Scalabrine are expected to start for the Celtics.
