Bruins’ Tuukka Rask leaves game after nasty collision with Rangers player
Filip Chytil lifted a shot over Rask as he barreled toward the net with 1:28 left in the opening period.
Bruins goalie Tuukaa Rask left the game against the Rangers late in the first period on Saturday night after a nasty collision with a New York player in the crease.
The team announced in the second period that he would not return due to a concussion.

The Rangers’ Filip Chytil lifted a shot over Rask as he barreled toward the net with 1:28 left in the opening period. As the puck went over Rask’s left shoulder into the net to tie the game at 1, Chytil lost control and jumped into Rask, sending the goalie hard into the goalpost.

Rask looked groggy as he was helped off the ice.
Jaroslav Halak came on for Rask, who entered the game with a chance to take over the Bruins’ all-time lead for wins by a goalie.
