Watch Brad Marchand net the Bruins’ game-winning goal in overtime
"We're going to be a good team."
Boston’s go-to overtime goal scorer came in clutch once again.
The Bruins, tied with the Dallas Stars at one through nearly all three periods, pulled ahead with an overtime goal from Brad Marchand on a two-man advantage.

With just over 30 seconds left in overtime and a 5-on-3 advantage for the Bruins, center David Krejci found Marchand at the bottom of the right circle. Marchand ripped a shot off the far post, scoring the game-winner on former Bruins backup goaltender Anton Khudobin.
“When we got in the zone, I saw that there was only 35 seconds left or something,” Marchand said after the game. “So I was trying to get it to the net. I was kind of looking for the back door on [Patrice Bergeron], but they were sitting on it, so I was lucky to get a shot in.”
The Bruins’ top line of David Pastrnak, Bergeron, and Marchand produced both of Boston’s goals in Monday night’s comeback over the Stars.
“We all have to [do] our part, pull our weight,” Marchand said. “There’s times when we have to do it, there’s times when other guys have to do it, and that’s why we’ve been successful so far this year and last year. I think we all understand that we have to bring it every night. … We’re going to be a good team, we had a great game tonight and it’s because it was a great effort.”
