Ex-Bruin Craig Cunningham remains in critical condition

Former Bruins forward Craig Cunningham remains in critical condition at an Arizona hospital but is stable, Arizona Coyotes coach Dave Tippett told media on Monday.

Cunningham collapsed during pregame warmups with the Coyotes’ AHL affiliate Tucson Roadrunners prior to their game on Saturday. Cunningham, the Roadrunners’ captain, was taken off the ice after being tended to by medics, who reportedly had to cut away his jersey and perform chest compressions. The cause of the 26-year-old’s collapse is still unknown.
