The Bruins took care of business against Buffalo Monday night, while the Red Sox begin the process of building for next season.

Claude Julien wins 400th game as Bruins coach: With last night’s 4-0 win over Buffalo, the Bruins secured their coach a milestone victory. Claude Julien tallied his 400th win as coach of the Bruins, in his 716th game with the team. Julien surpassed Art Ross as the winningest coach in Bruins history last year, in his ninth season with the team. Ross needed 17 seasons to win 387 games, although Julien’s winning pace (.582) will never exceed that of Tom Johnson’s .682 winning percentage in 3 seasons.

Donald Trump tells NH crowd that Tom Brady voted for him: Questions have swirled since a “Make America Great Again” hat was seen in Tom Brady’s locker about whether the quarterback will be voting for the divisive GOP nominee. Brady has repeatedly been asked who he is voting for, and repeatedly not answered. But Donald Trump answered the question himself, claiming that Brady had voted for him, and Belichick had written him a letter of endorsement. (Boston.com)

Mark Cuban responds to Donald Trump-Tom Brady news with Deflategate joke: As alluded to above, Donald Trump said last night that Tom Brady had voted for him, but Tom Brady said yesterday morning he had not yet voted. This little disconnect created an opening ripe for controversy, and Mavericks owner Mark Cuban jumped into the fray with a zinger. And the punchline is none other than every New England fan’s favorite topic of conversation… Deflategate. (NESN)

Red Sox set offseason focus on bullpen help: Speaking at yesterday’s general managers’ meetings, Dave Dombrowski outlined the team’s needs and plan for the offseason. The candid Dombrowski stated plainly that the Red Sox would be looking for a reliever, and one talented enough to pitch the eighth inning. Dombrowski said he sees Heath Hembree and Joe Kelly in next year’s bullpen, presumably joining Craig Kimbrel, Carson Smith, Matt Barnes, and Robbie Ross Jr. (The Boston Globe)
