Watch Brad Marchand swat a goal baseball-style

Brad Marchand had a nice cut against the Maple Leafs. The Bruins winger did a great job keeping his eye on the puck.

The Bruins were shorthanded with 15 minutes left to play in the first period of the Bruins’ 4-3 shootout win over the Maple Leafs. Marchand forechecked and caught Maple Leafs goaltender James Reimer holding the puck too long behind the net. He stole the puck and centered it to Patrice Bergeon, who put the puck on the net.

Reimer scrambled back into the net, and the shot ricoceted off his pads in the direction of Marchand, who gave the Bruins a 1-0 lead by swatting a rebound out the air, and ripping it into the back of the net.
