Bruins trade Martin Jones to Sharks for first-round pick, prospect
The Milan Lucic trade return now includes an additional first round pick.
The Bruins have traded goaltender Martin Jones to the San Jose Sharks for a 2016 first round pick and prospect Sean Kuraly.
Jones, a backup in Los Angeles last season and a piece of the deal that sent Lucic to the Kings before the draft, will start for San Jose next season. The Bruins are set between the pipes with Tuukka Rask, who Don Sweeney said is <a href=”

Jones had a .906 save percentage and allowed 2.25 goals per game last season in 15 appearances for the Kings.
Kuraly was a fifth-round pick in 2011. The 6-foot-2-inch, 205-pound center scored 19 goals and had 10 assists as a junior at Miami of Ohio last season. At age 22, he’s the captain of the team entering his senior year.
