Cheer up, Bruins fans! Vegas says B’s have great chance to hoist Stanley Cup in 2016

Bruins fans have a reason to be hopeful for next season.
According to Bovada.lv, the Bruins have 16/1 odds to win the Stanley Cup in 2016, the fifth-best odds of any Eastern Conference team. It also puts them tied with the Nashville Predators for the 10th-best odds league-wide.
The Bruins came into 2014-15 with high hopes as the defending Presidents’ Trophy winners, but a season of underachievements left them on the outside of the playoffs for the first time in eight years.
The Chicago Blackhawks, who just wrapped up their third Stanley Cup title in six seasons, are the favorite to hoist the Cup again at 7/1. The New York Rangers have the second-best odds at 8/1, while the defending Eastern Conference champion Tampa Bay Lightning are tied for fourth with the St. Louis Blues at 12/1.
