Watch: Four years ago Monday, the Bruins won the Stanley Cup
‘Get the Duck Boats ready!’
It may seem like a lifetime ago, but four years ago Monday, the Bruins hoisted the Stanley Cup for the first time since 1972.
Heading into a hostile Rogers Arena in Vancouver for Game 7, the Bruins vanquished almost four decades of demons with a convincing 4-0 victory over the Canucks. Tim Thomas made 37 saves for the visitors in that contest, and was later named the winner of the Conn Smythe Trophy.
Take a run down memory lane and watch one of the greatest moments in Bruins history.
