Beanpot Championship, Consolation Game Postponed Until Feb. 23

The 2015 Beanpot hockey tournament final and consolation game have been postponed until Feb. 23 due to inclement weather in Boston, TD Garden announced.

Boston University and Northeastern will face off in the championship game on Monday, February 23 at 7:30 p.m. at TD Garden. The consolation game featuring Boston College and Harvard University is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. that same day.

The first round of Boston’s annual college hockey showcase was pushed back a day earlier this month due to another winter storm. In the semifinals played on Feb. 3, Boston University edged Harvard, 4-3, in double-overtime while Northeastern dropped defending champion Boston College, 2-1, in regulation.

In the Women’s Beanpot, Boston College and Harvard are scheduled to square off in the championship game at the Bright-Landry Hockey Center at Harvard on Tuesday, Feb. 10 at 7:30 p.m. and Boston University and Northeastern remain scheduled to skate for third place at 4:30 p.m.
