The Bruins were buried by the Maple Leafs on Wednesday by a score of 6-1 in Toronto, including three power play goals, and Tuukka Rask being pulled in the second period. The Leafs came out strong early, forcing Rask to make good saves from the start, such as this one.

But things went south quickly, beginning with Phil Kessel’s first goal of the night at 6:46 of the first period.

Frustration mounted for the Bruins as a Reilly Smith power play goal was quickly called off due to Carl Soderberg’s contact with goaltender Jonathan Bernier.

Dennis Seidenberg scored the Bruins first and only goal of the game at 14:16 of the second period, with assists to Milan Lucic and Patrice Bergeron.

Going into the third period and trailing 5-1, Daniel Paille took a high-sticking penalty that resulted in a sixth goal for the Leafs, and their third power play goal of the game. The goal came off the stick of Peter Holland at 7:20 of the third period.

It was an entirely forgettable night for the Bruins. On to Montreal.
