On Monday at Madison Square Garden, the Minnesota Wild were leading 3-0 going into the third period, but gave up five goals and lost to the New York Rangers.

Twenty-four hours later, it was the Wild who came from behind to stun their opponents, thanks to a meltdown by the Bruins that cost them a valuable two points.

The Bruins were leading 3-1 entering the third period after goals by Seth Griffith and Milan Lucic in the second, but were outshot 18-8 over the final 20 minutes as the Wild scored two goals in the first 6:34 of the third period to tie the game. Marco Scandella completed the comeback with 5:53 to play in the third as the Bruins dropped a game they had no business losing.

The loss spoils an impressive effort from Griffith, as the rookie scored two goals and added an assist in just his seventh NHL game. The Bruins gave up a season-high 42 shots in the contest, as they failed to get above the .500 mark for the first time this year, dropping to 5-6-0 on the season.
