The Only Thing You Need to Know About Tuesday’s Bruins-Sharks Game

Milan Lucic has endured a lot of criticism already this season – some of it rightly so – but if there’s one thing that silences critics, it’s production.

The Bruins’ top line left wing was on the score sheet early and often, tallying assists on three of the Bruins’ five goals on the night in their 5-3 win over the Sharks on Tuesday.

Lucic picked up primary assists on power play goals by Brad Marchand and Torey Krug, and one on Seth Griffith’s third period goal – the first of his NHL career. After the referee signaled a good goal, Lucic made sure to go over and get the puck for the young forward.

Gregory Campbell’s third period goal was the game-winner with 9:18 to play in the game, while Lucic’s linemate David Krejci scored an empty-netter to seal the game with 24 seconds to play. Lucic’s big night was a good sign in having the Bruins bruising forward return to form, having tallied points in just one other game this season.
