Matt Bartkowski Out of Game 2

After both of his penalties in Game 1 led to power play goals by P.K. Subban, including the game-winner in double overtime, coach Claude Julien has decided to sit defenseman Matt Bartkowski for Game 2 against Montral.
Andrej Meszaros, who hasn’t played since Game 2 of the first round against the Red Wings, will start in his place.
Bartkowski was called for tripping against Dale Weise at 10:05 in the first period, and Subban gave the Canadiens a 1-0 lead 1:18 later. More than a full games worth of time later, Bartkowski was called for another penalty against Weise, this time a hold 4:10 into the second overtime period, and Subban ended the game just seven seconds later.
Neither Bartkowski nor Mezsaros have scored a point in the 2014 Stanley Cup Playoffs.
