Tough schedule for Boston fans

The Bruins will be competing with more than just the Carolina Hurricanes during their second round Stanley Cup playoff series. They’ll also be going head-to-head with the hometown hoops team.

Starting Wednesday, the Celtics and Bruins will play on the same night for the final five games (if necessary) of the Bruins’ series with the Hurricanes. That means Boston fans looking to watch their boys of winter on ice and on the parquet will have to do some channel surfing.

Here’s how the doubleheaders break down. There are no days on which the Bruins and Celtics both play at the Garden:
