A list of the scariest homes in New England
The real estate market has definitely been scary lately, but for some New England homes, the fear factor is more than just the price. The region is also home to five of the spookiest spots in the United States, according to a list Conde Nast Traveler released Oct. 7.
From homes to highways to hospitals, the travel publication collected 32 of the creepiest places in the country, including these ones from New England:
- Emily’s Bridge, Stowe, Vt.
- The House of the Seven Gables, Salem
- Lizzie Borden Bed & Breakfast, Fall River
- The Mark Twain House & Museum, Hartford
- Sheffield Island Lighthouse, Norwalk, Conn.
