Think you have the best dorm room in Massachusetts? We have been accepting submissions to our contest to be crowned the best dorm decorator in the state — and the winner of a $1,000 gift card. All you need to do is take a picture of your room and post it, following the rules below.
We have received some great submissions so far, but are looking for more. The last day to enter is Friday, Sept. 27, 2019, so get decorating!

Here are the rules:
Follow @Boston on Instagram. Take a photograph of your college dorm room. Between 7:30 a.m. ET on Friday, Aug. 30, 2019, and 11:59:59 p.m. ET on Friday, Sept. 27, 2019, post the photo to your Instagram account. Your post must include: (a) the handle @Boston tagged in the photo; (b) the hashtag #BostonDormContest; (c) a mention of your college (you may meet this requirement by tagging your school’s official Instagram account, if it has one, or by using your school’s location tag).
Judging criteria:
- Use of dorm room space;
- Creativity of dorm room decor;
- Innovation of dorm room decor.
