When shopping for a house between $1-$2 million in Greater Boston, there’s a wide range of options, but location will dictate size.
“It could be one-bedroom in Beacon Hill, or it could be a seven-bedroom in West Roxbury,” said Ashlee Reed, an agent with REAL Broker.
In the suburbs, proximity to the water is another thing that makes a big splash, according to Lisa Sheehan, a global luxury adviser with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices and Robert Paul Properties.
“The buyer that’s coming to my house would be different than the buyer that would come to that same house if it were on the water,” she said.
From luxurious houses to quaint condos, here’s a snapshot of what between $1-$2 million can get you in Boston and its suburbs.
