A Victorian across from the Boston Common has entered the market with Back Bay skyline views, six levels of living space, and a $11,950,000 price tag.

Maggie Gold Seelig of MGS Group Real Estate listed the town house at 60 Beacon St. on March 29. It measures 5,636 square feet on a 0.07-acre lot and contains five bedrooms, five full bathrooms, and one half bathroom.

Boston-based Hacin + Associates — whose work you may recognize at Boston spots such as Myers + Chang restaurant or the W Hotel — is behind the 2013 gut renovation of the 1825 home. The renovation added modern refreshes to the property, including updated electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems; reconfigured circulation to allow for the elevator; and an open floor plan on the first level.

That floor starts with a foyer, where a partial glass wall serves as a divider between it and the family room. The latter space features a black marble fireplace and a spiral staircase that snakes up to the four floors above. The eat-in kitchen follows with a built-in bookcase and cushy window seat, as well as a waterfall-edge marble island, glossy white cabinetry, and stainless-steel appliances. Behind it, a deck leads to the patio and landscaped garden.

Moving through the home, prospective buyers will discover a second-floor media room and butler’s pantry with a wine refrigerator, a third-floor office with a window seat to accompany the owner suite, and two fourth-floor bedroom suites, including one with a door to a deck.

Additional features of the home include a finished lower level complete with its own kitchen and a garage that can fit two to four vehicles.
