Two bedroom suites crown the priciest home sold in Greater Boston last week, according to the Multiple Listing Service — a 4,785-square-foot brick single-family in Back Bay that dropped for $8,500,000 on Wednesday, May 1.

Beth Dickerson of Gibson Sotheby’s International Realty sold 309 Marlborough St., a five-story property with four bedrooms, four full baths, two half baths, five fireplaces, an elevator, tall baseboards, wainscot, crown molding, hardwood floors, and a roof deck with a firepit, a gas grill, and a wet bar.

Found on the first level, the dining room features bay windows, a fireplace, and sliding French doors that open into an eat-in kitchen with high-end appliances, including a six-burner gas stove and a wine fridge.

The second floor houses a living room and a library with built-ins, both with fireplaces. The master suite is on the third floor and offers closets with built-ins, a soaking tub, and a steam shower. There are two bedrooms with en-suite baths on the fourth floor, as well as door access to the roof deck.

The garden level has a family room, a guest bedroom with an en-suite bath, and door access to the brick patio.

The home, which sits on 0.05 of an acre, comes with two parking spaces.
