The price has been cut by 52 percent for this glass-walled estate on 2.54 acres in North Chatham.

The buyer also can purchase an additional 40,000-square-foot lot.

34 Salt Marsh Way is on the market for $3,600,000, listed by Phyllis Power of William Raveis Luxury Properties – Chatham. The 7,940-square-foot home offers four bedrooms and 5.5 baths.

“The vision for a contemporary glass box of comfort and serenity has been realized in this transparent home,” Power said. “You can see through it from east to west.”

Cherry woodwork and rift-sawn oak floors glisten in the kitchen, living room, and library. You’ll find a wine cellar and playroom in the basement. The home has an elevator, flooring with radiant heat, a copper roof, and bronze railings.

The property is on a dead-end road, out of view from the street. It features a fire pit, a serpentine wall, and stone fountains. There is a recorded deed restriction because the property is a Massachusetts historical site of Native American burial, according to the Multiple Listing Service write-up.

A 40,104-square-foot lot adjacent to 30 Salt Marsh Way is on the market for an additional $775,000 — bringing the cost for the total package to $4,375,000. The property has a non-conforming garage. Power said the lot is the perfect location for a future guest house or pool.
