Biggest sales: Waterfront Swampscott mansion sells for $7.7 million
A Beacon Hill condo, a Colonial Revival in Cambridge, and a waterfront home in Hingham also made our list.
It’s always hard to beat out a Beacon Hill condo as the priciest sale, but this week a waterfront home in Swampscott with panoramic views did just that.
Other big sales include a single-family in Cambridge and a Shingle-style home on Hingham Harbor.

This 14,657-square-foot estate, which offers five bedrooms, five full baths, and three half baths, sold for $7,700,000 on Tuesday. Set on a 0.96-acre lot, the property boasts a glass wall spanning two floors that overlooks the rocky cliffs and the ocean, providing panoramic views. Inside, you’ll find Italian marble, black walnut and limestone flooring, an elevator, four fireplaces, a wine cellar, and a five-car garage. Oh, and there is an oceanside infinity pool.
39-41 Mount Vernon St., Unit II, Beacon Hill
On Friday, April 6, this three-bedroom, 3.5-bath, 2,840-square-foot condo sold for $5,412,500. Set in a luxury building that has been recently renovated, this unit offers hand-carved Italian marble fireplace mantels and imported French oak chevron herringbone floors. There are also two private terraces, a 24-hour concierge, a doorman, and 24-hour valet parking.
26 Parker St., Cambridge
This six-bedroom, 4.5-bath, 4,482-square-foot Colonial Revival sold for $4,200,000 on Tuesday. The home, which was completely renovated, has high ceilings, large windows, hardwood floors, an eat-in kitchen, and period details. There is also a separate side entrance that leads to the finished lower level. The 0.13-acre yard is fenced-in.
167 Otis St., Hingham
Custom built in 2003, this four-bedroom, 3.5-bath, 5,062-square-foot home sold for $3,500,000 on Friday, April 6. Highlights include a living room with a fireplace and a coffered ceiling, a high-end kitchen, a family room with exposed beams, and new Brazilian cherry flooring. There is also a walk-out basement with 12-foot ceilings, a full bath, a gym, and a sauna, and access to a patio with an outdoor shower. The home sits on a 0.27-acre lot.
