The Hub on Causeway project brought revitalized office, hotel, retail, and entertainment venues to Boston’s North Station. Its residential component, Hub50House, placed 440 luxury apartments smack dab in the middle of the action.

Developed by BXP and designed by Solomon Cordwell Buenz, the residences at 50 Causeway St. officially opened their doors in November 2019. The 38-story tower offers thrilling water and skyline views in all directions. The floor plans range from studios to three-bedroom apartments, with rents starting at $2,725 for a studio, $3,690 for a one-bedroom, $4,395 for a two-bedroom, and $7,990 for a three-bedroom.

Each residence features 9-foot floor-to-ceiling windows and modern finishes. The kitchens offer stainless steel appliances, white Italian cabinetry, and matching Silestone counters. Select units come with balconies, terraces, and dual-vanity bathrooms. Residences also include features such as an in-unit laundry setup, Nest thermostats, keyless fob entries, and a customizable closet system design.

The fitness center — in addition to traditional gym equipment — is outfitted with Peloton bikes, a TRX system, and studios in which residents have access to complimentary fitness classes.

Perched above the building’s retail level is the “woof deck,” an all-season dog park. The space features a lawn and play area for pups, as well as an indoor grooming station, pet spa, and pet lounge with Wi-Fi and TVs for the humans to enjoy. The “Outdoor Skyline” deck is home to communal grilling areas, private grill pods, communal dining areas, a fire pit, lounge seating, and a greenway with views of downtown, the harbor, and the islands. But it’s hard to beat the view at the “Skypool,” a full 38 floors up on the building rooftop.
