What you can rent for $4,000 a month, all over Greater Boston
In April 2016, one-bedroom apartments in Boston had a median monthly price of $2,310, while two-bedrooms saw a median of $2,650, making the city the third most expensive rental market in the country.
Last week we looked at what you could rent in the Boston area for around the average rent and found that in the city, you might not get much, but in the suburbs you could get a whole house.
But what about those looking in (or fantasizing about) the high end of the rental market? Here are five rental units that you can get for close to $4,000 per month, ordered from highest price per square foot to lowest. (Or, if you’re in the market to buy a house, here’s what approximately $350,000, $500,000, and $1 million will get you across greater Boston.)
