Open houses: Three homes for under $600,000
We found a Cape in Newburyport, a Medford condo, and a Norwell Colonial hosting open houses this weekend.
In Greater Boston, the median sales price for a single-family home increased 7.1 percent last month to a record $652,500, according to data from the Greater Boston Association of Realtors, so we looked for homes slightly under that price point. We found a Cape in Newburyport, a condo in Medford, and a Colonial in Norwell. Check them out:
29 Moseley Ave., Newburyport
Listed for $599,900, this Cape has four bedrooms, two full baths, and 1,960 square feet of living space on a 0.29-acre lot. The eat-in kitchen leads into a living room with a fireplace and then on to a sunroom. There are two bedrooms and a full bath on the first floor, and the second floor houses a master bedroom with a walk-in closet and jetted tub, a fourth bedroom, and a bath. The roof, HVAC system, electrical panel, hot-water heater, driveway, sewer line, and kitchen appliances have been updated. Additional highlights include oak flooring, a patio, and a shed.
