Two of the big draws to Newton are the city’s walkability and “top-notch public school system,” but the homes often come with a hefty price tag. The median home value here is $1,022,716, according to Zillow.com.
We found a condo listed for way under that price and a ranch and a split-level that cost a little bit more, and all are hosting open houses this weekend. Check them out:
159 Washington St.
With two bedrooms, one full bath, and 987 square feet of living space, this condo, located in a Victorian, is listed for $575,000. The unit has hardwood floors, high ceilings, and a living room with a fireplace and bay window. The kitchen features granite counters and stainless-steel appliances.
