Tim Wakefield’s Florida home is on the market for $3.9m
The 6,200-square-foot waterfront property features a private dock on the Banana River.
The Florida beachside home of late Red Sox Pitcher Tim Wakefield and his wife, Stacy, has hit the market, listed for $3.9 million.
Located in Indian Harbour Beach, the 6,242-square-foot property was built in 2000. According to the listing, the lot is 1.01 acres. With a stucco exterior and marble floors, the home has a distinct Mediterranean influence. Columns, arches, and tile underscore the elegance of the property.

There are four bedrooms, four bathrooms, and two half bathrooms. The main suite features a fireplace, a luxurious bathroom with a soaking tub and walk-in shower, and walk-in closets.
After purchasing the home, the Wakefields renovated the kitchen with custom cabinets and marble countertops.

The backyard offers a pool, hot tub, fire pit, outdoor shower, and summer kitchen.
Residents also have access to a private dock on the Banana River, which people use for casual boating and paddleboarding. There are also golf courses, a yacht club, and top-rated schools nearby, promising an “unparalleled lifestyle of elegance, security, and prestige,” writes listing agents Dewayne Carpenter and Kirk Kessel of the Carpenter Kessel Team at Compass.

The Wakefields bought the property in 2006. Tim Wakefield played 17 seasons with Boston and helped lead the team to two World Series championships.
The former knuckleballer died in October 2023 at age 57 after a battle with brain cancer. His wife, Stacy, passed away five months later.
