Biggest sales: A Commonwealth Avenue penthouse with two roof decks for $14 million
Two condo units at 35 Commonwealth Ave. in Back Bay were the most expensive sales in the region last week, according to the Multiple Listing Service.
It’s no surprise that the penthouse was tops, selling for $14,000,000 on Oct. 30. It takes up the top three levels of a brownstone built in 1899 and converted this year. Unit 2 at 35 Commonwealth Ave. sold for $10,540,000 on Oct. 29. Tracy Campion of Campion & Company had both listings.
The penthouse boasts four bedrooms, four full bathrooms, one half bathroom, and two roof decks. Each level of the home is directly accessible by elevator. The condo was marketed with the option to buy a separate studio residence off the building’s lobby. The condo and studio space measure 5,320 square feet in all. The sale did not include the studio, but it included one garage and one outdoor parking space.
