Biggest sales: A waterfront Duxbury estate for $8.75 million
The most expensive home sale in Massachusetts last week was a 10,344-square-foot Duxbury estate on Standish Shore, according to the Multiple Listing Service.
274 Marshall St. boasts 11 rooms, including five bedrooms, five full bathrooms, and one half bathroom. The shingle-style home was sold by Reggie Irving of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage for $8,750,000 on Friday, Oct. 4.
Encompassing 2.24 acres, the waterfront property includes a private beach, boathouse, heated in-ground pool, and a tennis court.
Inside, the first floor master suite boasts a fireplace, high ceilings, walk-in closets, and views of the water. The additional four bedrooms are all equipped with ensuite bathrooms. The kitchen features an 8-foot-by-10-foot center island, butler’s pantry, and panoramic views of the bay. Additional amenities include balconies, a fitness center, a game room, a winding staircase, and a wine cellar.
